Nostalgic Staten Island Memorabilia For Sale!

Do you remember a night out bowling with friends at Victory Lanes? What about catching a movie at the Lane Theater? How about those warm summer days spent at the South Beach Amusement Park? Well now you have the chance to buy back a piece of your past!

Antiques dealer and collector Bill Nesnay of Pine Beach, NJ has recently come into posession of many pieces of historical Staten Island memorabilia. He bought them from the owner of an abandoned storage facility, who also an antiques enthusiast, having purchased the items from shops and stores around S.I. as they went out of business back in the day.

A few hot items are a framed poster from the former Paramount Theater, projectors from the Lane Theater of New Dorp, two ticket booths, neon signage from the old Victory Lanes in Travis, and an arcade wheel from the former South Beach Amusement Park.

Other pieces include an old-fashioned traffic light and an assortment of vintage signs from former local businesses, including the Paramount Cafe & Bar, Toto's, Brower's Hardware, Stekman's and many more.

Nesnay has priced the items between $200 and $1,000. According to silive.com, he hopes they will sell to restaurants for display, or people with large basements who feeling the nostalgia. He personally prefers the quality of old items compared to new, and believes each piece will make a unique conversation starter.
