Did you play Volleyball on the Beach last Saturday at Great Kills Park? It is a great way to start your day off.  The 115th Anniversary Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society and festival ended on Sunday.  The National Landmarked Grotto is spectacular and something you will never forget.  I light a candle every year.  Can you imagine the local Italian-Americans building this grotto over the years?

The Borough President’s FREE Sunset Summer Concert Series on Thursday at Snug Harbor was just what the doctor ordered.  London Fogg played all the great oldies as we sang along and a few even danced.
