Have you made memories this summer? Did I inspire you to take risks, try new things, embrace your special days, live life to the fullest? Do you keep a photo journal of special events you shared with friends and family? Do you keep a diary or a journal of your fascinating life?!! I sometimes meet people who share stories about different events in their life. I will comment to them about what a great short story it would make or how exciting it must have been. They will sometimes nod and say, “Hmmm” or look at me like I have two heads. I attended a Journal writing event. He is an excellent student in 2nd grade at P.S. 3 and in his CCD class. All the children were taught well, knew their prayers and sang the beautiful songs during the Mass. I pray that Gerard will be blessed today and throughout his life. Check out the banner he designed and made for his Communion ceremony and the nod to a certain favorite creature. Hint: He is a dinosaur aficionado.

Fall?  You, my gentle readers, have the opportunity to attend Community Board meetings, neighborhood civic organizations or any of the forums where you can make a difference and become a part of changing the issues that you may be dealing with. If you did not attend but continue to complain about everything wrong with your neighborhood, taxes, rents, elected officials, etc., I…
