The Mount Loretto Fall Festival wants all you foodies out there to come celebrate fall with them today October 24th and tommorrow October 25th from noon to 5 p.m.

While there will be all sorts of different fall related activities to enjoy, perhaps the most anticipated is the arrival of Food Network Star and Eltingville native Dom Tesoriero! His food truck called "Mac Truck" will be serving it's incredible mac 'n' cheese recipes all day the 24th and 25th!

The festival will be held at Mount Loretto and admission to the event is free for everyone of all ages! For more information, text the word "FALL" to 82257, or call 718-490-5023.

NYC Arts Cypher will be hosting their fifth annual haunted house this year!

Starting on Friday, October 23rd, the NYC Arts Cypher building will be transformed into two stories of pure madness! Actors play zombies, and there are chills and thrills at every turn!

The times you can visit the haunted mansion will be October 23-24 from 7:30-11:30 p.m.; October 25 from 6:30-10:30 p.m.; and October 29-31 from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under and students with an ID. 

There will also be a Halloween party at the Cypher on November 1st. It's $40 to enter and there will be catered food and drink all night.

Flesh Junkies is a zombie punk-cabaret band that will blow your mind this Halloween!

This band performes every and all October long and never ceases to amaze audiences. Dressed as real zombies, the flesh junkies are nothing short of talented and entertaining!

Their shows throughout Staten Island and Manhattan will follow the following schedule posted by silive.com: 

October 23: Mother Pug's Saloon, 9 p.m.

October 28: Sidewalk Cafe, 9 p.m.

October 30: St. George Theatre, 9 p.m.

October 31: Nurnberger Bierhalle, 9 p.m.

Don't miss out on the biggest haunted hayride in New York City this Halloween!


This amazingly scary hayride runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October from 6 to 11 p.m. The pumpkin patch is free to visit on it's own, however the hayride costs $10 for adults and $5 for kids. This fee also includes pony rides and a pumpkin of your choice! 

The pumpkin patch is located at 335 Chelsea Road and is open to the general public!

The Annual Richmond Rockets Scholarship Costume Run is being held on Sunday October 25th, 2015 at Silver Lake Park. 

The run starts at 9 a.m. and spans the length of 5 Kilometers. There's also a one-mile race for all children grades 3-8, as well as a "fun run" for all children under 10. 

There will be raffles, refreshments, and prizes for the best costume!

Sunday, October 25th, at the Greenbelt Conservancy the Audubon Society will be hosting a pumpkin carving workshop. 

Starting at 2 p.m., this workshop will teach you all the ins and outs of carving and decorating the perfect jack-o-lanterns. Choose your favorite pumpkin and get to work!

Ages 8+ are welcome with parental supervision. There's a $7 fee for Greenbelt Conservatory members, and $9 for non-members. The cost includes the pumpkin and the tools will be provided for you as part of the workshop. Register by calling 718-351-3450, or e-mail naturecenter@sigreenbelt.org.

Hemlock Theatre brings their hilarity to the stage with Silence! The Musical. 

This musical is an unauthorized musical adaptation of "Silence of the Lambs." It's a satire featuring laugh-out-loud comedy as floppy eared lambs narrate the story of Buffalo Bill and Catherine Martin. 

Performances take place from October 22nd through the 25th, and this is definitely going to be a show to remember! The show is playing at Little Shop Studios - 864 Post Avenue, Staten Island. Tickets are available at the door and payments can be made with cash, credit cards, or checks.

The Church of St. Andrew in Richmondtown is hosting its annual Fright Night Festival on Friday, October 23rd at 7 p.m.

This year's theme is "Things that go Bump in the Night" and according to their tagline it's time for you to "face your fears!" The Church of St. Andrew is a 300 year old church. Every October for over 15 years, members of the church transform the buildings and grounds into a scary good time! Tickets are available at the church office at 40 Old Mill Road.

This Sunday, October 18th 2015, the Mud Lane Society is hosting their annual Oktoberfest!

The photo above is a wonderful picture of the Bechtel Mansion, which you can go on a tour of during the Mud Lane Society's Oktoberfest celebration this weekend!

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. you can go on a self-guided tour of a historic Stapleton home, grab some free root beer and pretzels, enjoy a bier garden, a guided tour of the Bechtel Mansion, and more!

Flagship beer and $3 German wieners, bratwurst, knockwurst and more will be served! Plus, there will be food from various restaurants as well as crafts and trinkets from local artists!
