Snug Harbor - Staten Island, NY

The area of Snug Harbor lies on the North Shore of Staten Island, with Port Richmond to the west and New Brighton to the east. This area is also sometimes referred to as Randall Manor. It is named for the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, which is largely considered the cultural epicenter of Staten Island with its many year-round events. Snug Harbor is filled with private homes and greenery, and because of its proximity to the ferry terminal, it is viewed as a very desirable area to live. Schools here include P.S. 18 and I.S. 61. The neighborhood is accessible by public transportation via the local S44, S46, S48, S94, S96, and S98 buses, as well as the X30 express bus.

1. Silver Lake Park Silver Lake Park Road This is a 209 acre public park with a lake, 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, sports fields, trails, and much more!
