Recently, SILive released an article discussing why and how you should relist your home after it failed to sell. They try to help identify why it didn’t sell and provide tips on how to improve it to help it sell.

One of their tips is to adjust the presentation. Having the right photos and staging will make people want to look at the home. Update your photos to be seasonally appropriate. Having outdated photos might suggest the home has been sitting on the market a while.

Consider some small improvements. Fix up the landscaping or paint. Listen to previous agents looking at the house and ask them what changes you could make.

Hire the right agent. Pick a realtor that is reliable and will do the job right. Make sure your agent has the right connections and will be able to sell for you.
