D, Patricia Salmon continues her Staten Island history lecture series at the museum with “Historic Landmarks of Staten Island”.  Many breath-taking historic structures have survived on Staten Island, such as the Dr. Samuel Elliott House, the Seguine Mansion, the Seguine-Manee Homestead, the Rossville AME Zion Church and Cemetery, the Conference House and landmarked buildings at the former Sailors’ Snug Harbor. Attend Safety Advice for Caregivers on Friday from 7:30-4:30 at Staten Island University Hospital, 475 Seaview Ave.  Presented by SIUH's Kelly Moed, who is nationally recognized in the field, caregivers will learn safe and effective ways to lift a patient, practical hands-on experience to save their back and protect their patient and hands-on problem-solving techniques.
