Sunset Hill - Staten Island, NY

It is said that Sunset Hill is named because residents here have a perfect view of the sun as it is setting. Sunset Hill is actually a relatively new term for the neighborhood, as it is a subset of West Brighton. The area is bordered by Silver Lake to the east, Clove Lake to the west, and the greater West Brighton area to the north. This area is home to some of the island’s more affluent residents, including judges, politicians, lawyers, and other professionals. This is also a great place for kids, with the Staten Island Zoo at the heart of the area, as well as P.S. 45 and I.S. 27 within its boundaries.
