Public School 58 – Heartland Village

“The Space Shuttle Columbia School” is home to 783 students in grades ranging from Pre-K to 5.This is a relatively new school, opened in 2003, and named for the tragic NASA mission of the same year. Program offerings here are peer mediation, Project Arts Initiative, School Student Leadership, and Latch Key. After school activities include cheerleading, sports, arts and crafts, and I-Squad- a technology training and troubleshooting program.
