Public School 53 – Oakwood

“The Bay Terrace School” teaches 650 students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. The school was built in the 1960s, alongside the Greencroft Playground. PS 53 is one of few that offer the Gifted and Talented Program. Other programs include Strategies for Success, Literary Designs Magazine, Book of the Month, as well as Latch Key and other classes after school.
