Gillani Homes has been very busy this past summer, attending various events throughout the Island to immerse ourselves into your communities.  Each year, we raffle off our famous “Lotto House” which features a slew of different scratch off tickets.  The prize sends you our best wishes and our hopes that it will bring you riches! At each event we collect hundreds of free raffle tickets which ultimately added up to over 1,000 entries! Early this month at our annual office meeting, we chose this year’s winner. Congratulations to our winners, Dee & Tony Orabona of Grymes Hill.

If you would like to enter for a chance to win this unique prize, look out for Gillani Homes at events around your town. Here’s a look at where we have been over the course of this year. We hope to see you there in the future.

Our team here at Gillani Homes had a wonderful time in June at the 5th Annual Polish festival held at Snug Harbor. Snug Harbor is a cultural center and botanical gardens located on the North Shore of Staten Island. It’s a hidden gem, an oasis of nature, rare to find in New York City. The Tuscan Gardens and Chinese Scholar Garden are among the serene and captivating sights. It’s no wonder the Polish Festival has been held there since its inception 5 years ago. The festival featured performances by musical greats including 18 time Grammy Award winner, Jimmy Sturr.

We were also in attendance at The Richmond County Fair this past Labor Day Weekend. The Fair serves as a fund raiser to support the many educational programs at Historic Richmond Town- a living museum that presents the diverse American experience from the early days of the Dutch and English settlers right up to the present. The fair features family friendly fun in the form of rides, musical performances, arts & crafts, and other specialty acts.

Here we are clowning around with some whimsical entertainers.

Others events attended include The German Maifest, which featured delicious German food provided by a local favorite restaurant, Nurnberger Bierhaus. Juggling performers, magic shows, Polka music, and games & crafts for the kids made this festival one to remember.

Lastly, our team enjoyed the annual Back To The Beach festival held year after year at Midland Beach. This year, the festival had a spirit of resilence and celebrated the way our Island came together to help the victims of Super Storm Sandy. Each year the festival is a day of fun in the sun which ends with a spectacular Fireworks display out on the bay.

So remeber, when you see Gillani Homes sponorsing an event in your community ask about our "Lotto House." We wish you the best of luck! & for more information on any of the lovely places or events we've attended, visit the links provided below.
