I hope you made it to the Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre’s delightful presentation of "The Taming of the Shrew" this past weekend at Reformed Church of Staten Island in Port Richmond. The play takes place in Padua, New York, a town that resembles Staten Island. The wonderful cast, clad in hip current-day garb, made you feel right at home with Shakespeare while rapping, moving and grooving, twists and turns, mistaken identities and ending with happily ever after.
