I hope you, my gentle readers, had a blessed and joyous Christmas, Kwanzaa (12/26-1/1) and/or Boxing Day (12/26) for those of you who live in the U.K.

Did you attend the Property Tax Exemption Event sponsored by Councilman Steve Matteo at the JCC on Thursday.  If you disagree with your Notice of Property Value (NOPV) or Assessed Value, you have the right to appeal to the New York City Tax Commission by 3/15/19.  To file an appeal, visit the Tax Commission at www.nyc.gov/html/taxcomm, download TC108 and TC108INS forms and mail in your appeal before 3/15/19.
